Private translated rooms
Partners, friends, family, coworkers, or invited guides can use private rooms where translation and tone support help the conversation stay clear.
Portfolio Case Study
A bilingual product experience connecting a public waitlist site with private translated rooms, AI support, and guided conversation flows.
Project Context
MeetEmLi introduces the larger product idea: helping people find better paths into hard conversations. Between Us turns that idea into a private app with bilingual messaging, original-and-translated message storage, invitations, phrase practice, saved insights, and conversation support.
The work connects public marketing, waitlist capture, bilingual pages, privacy and legal content, Supabase-backed account flows, OpenAI translation, voice transcription, and PWA behavior into one product system.

The app stores original messages separately from successful translations so tone, wording, and context are not overwritten by the AI layer.

Partners, friends, family, coworkers, or invited guides can use private rooms where translation and tone support help the conversation stay clear.

Guided rooms support lived-experience matching, respectful prompts, boundaries, reporting, saved insights, and human context beyond generic AI answers.

The public site includes bilingual entry points, Ask EmLi content, waitlist submission, SEO/GEO support, and legal pages aligned with the product story.
OpenAI translation runs server-side, validates structured responses, uses safe prompts, and can fall back to a basic translator when configured.
Auth, Postgres, realtime messaging, migrations, row-level security tests, invitations, receipts, and saved user data support the app workflow.
English and Spanish experiences cover public pages, app routes, onboarding, chat, phrasebook, support, settings, and privacy-aware communication.
Greenhouse can connect public pages, account flows, AI features, legal content, analytics, and launch messaging.
